If you’re a certified, experienced teacher who’s tired of working in a negative environment, buying your own supplies, and taking planning home at night, read this carefully.
At the Primrose School of Burlington, we have built something different.
What your day actually looks like-
You teach alongside an equal partner.
Every classroom at Primrose has two co-teachers. Not a lead and an assistant. Not a mentor and a mentee. Two teachers, with shared ownership and shared voice. You make decisions and work together each day.
Your classroom always has the coverage it deserves.
Each classroom has a dedicated support teacher who knows your students, your routines, and your expectations. They cover your breaks, your planning time, and your days off. No rotating substitutes disrupting what’s important to you. Your children get consistency even when you can’t be there to maintain the classroom culture and routines you work hard to produce.
You have an education coach in your corner every day.
Every Primrose teacher is paired with a dedicated education coach. Not just for formal observations. Not just when something goes wrong. Every single day. Your coach is a thought partner, a resource, and an advocate who helps you become the teacher you’re working toward being. From your first day, your education coach will ensure you have everything you need to succeed in your role. You will never face a challenging situation in your classroom alone.
Your planning happens at work.
We provide you with planning time, on the clock, within your scheduled hours. We don’t believe teachers should take work home. You leave at the end of the day clear-headed, and your evenings and weekends are yours.
We provide everything your classroom needs.
All materials, all resources, and all supplies are fully provided by us. You will never pay out of your own pocket for your classroom.
Who we’re looking for
You are a skilled, experienced teacher who holds a Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) teacher certification. You bring real classroom experience, and you’re ready to commit to a full-time role where you’re able to grow and are given the actual support to do it.
You’re not looking for a place to coast. You’re looking for a place that takes your development seriously and gives you the structures and support to show up as your best.
What you’ll need:
- MA Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) teacher certification (required)
- Demonstrated experience in early childhood education. Preschool, or Pre-K level preferred
- Full-time availability (this is a full-time position)
